What NotiLens does well
The ML anomaly detection is real product, not a tagline. It learns your baseline and flags deviations without you defining thresholds, which is the correct design when you genuinely do not know what normal looks like yet.
Native iOS and Android apps with acknowledgement, Remind Me Later and per-user Do Not Disturb are a better on-call experience than email. SensaCat has no mobile app. If you are the person who gets paged at 3am, that difference is not small.
They also ship an MCP server, which matters if you want an AI assistant querying your monitoring state directly.
The gap: no free tier, and every ping costs you
NotiLens has no free plan. Every tier starts with a 7-day trial, then Pro is $29/month for 5,000 events watched. The $20/year Basic Push tier looks cheap until you read the feature list: it has no silence detection at all, which is the entire reason you would buy a monitoring tool.
The metering is the part worth doing arithmetic on. An event is any ping NotiLens receives, and events that trigger nothing still count. A job pinging every five minutes burns roughly 8,640 events a month on its own, so one chatty heartbeat exceeds the whole Pro allowance.
Coverage stops at events. There is no credential or API-key expiry tracking, no domain registration expiry, no SSL certificate expiry. On-call scheduling and escalation only appear on the $99/month Team plan.

Who should stay on NotiLens
Stay if the anomaly detection is doing work a threshold could not, or if the mobile app is load-bearing for your on-call rotation. Those are genuine advantages SensaCat does not currently match.
Switch if your event volume makes the meter uncomfortable, or if half your silent failures are expiry-shaped rather than event-shaped. Expired API keys and lapsed certificates do not emit events, so no amount of event monitoring will catch them.
